1. Asset Management Tags

- Flexible Anti-Metal Tags: Designed with a special backing layer that allows reliable reading when attached to metal surfaces. Common sizes include 65×35×5mm, 50×15×10mm, and 100×40×10mm. Typical chips: R6-P, U8, M4QT.

UHF RFID Memory Structure
Understanding the memory layout of UHF RFID chips helps you make the most of each tag:
- EPC Zone: Stores the Electronic Product Code — the primary identifier for each item. This is the core data used for supply chain tracking.
- TID Zone: Tag Identifier — a factory-programmed, read-only unique serial number. Cannot be altered.
- User Zone: User-defined storage for custom data (production dates, batch numbers, expiry dates). Capacity varies by chip model.
- Reserved Zone: Contains access and kill passwords for security operations.
💡 Pro Tip: When designing your RFID label printing template, make sure the printed content avoids the chip location. RFID chips create a slight bump on the label surface, and printing directly over them can cause poor thermal transfer quality.
